History

The estate was created in the 18th century. Château Barralière is a 23-hectare family estate where 3 generations have taken care of this exceptional Provencal vineyard.  Gilles and Christophe Rouvier look after this jewel of Provence with passion and professionalism.

Vineyards and terroir

The vines flourish in this gravelly soil. Parcel-by-parcel selection allows the Mourvèdre, Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Rolle grape varieties to express their full oenological potential, producing top-quality red, rosé and white wines.

Vinification

Rosé and White: Vinification and ageing for 7 months in barrels, with regular resuspension of the lees.

Red: Traditional vinification and long maceration with manual punching down. 30 days of maceration and 9 months of barrel ageing..
