Magnificent bouquet of spicy plums and blackcurrant liqueur, followed by notes of rum and walnut chocolate, dried rose petals, fresh oregano and raspberry jelly.
Powerful on the palate, with well-supported, creamy, supple tannins, a lovely layer of caramel fills the palate completely. Hints of Arabica and Belgian chocolate truffles adorn the very long, almost spectacular finish with aromas of wild black berries and exotic woods.
Wines for celebration and pleasure. To be enjoyed around a good table or simply in front of the fireplace. When ripe, they offer finesse and go best with more refined dishes. Young and concentrated, they will easily support a spicier cuisine.
Best served between 16 and 18 degrees. Tip: Uncork the bottle an hour before serving, taste the wine and decide whether to decant.
