Bewitching bouquet of ripe plums, licorice and blackberry jelly, with hints of cremant chocolate and leather.
Powerful and fat, with cocoa-scented tannins and an impressive richness that fills the mouth completely. The interminable finish is a firework display of blue and black berries, with delicate notes of graphite and blackcurrant.
Ideal with T-bone steak, lamb rack, Wagyu beef burger, ribs or filet mignon, it's equally delicious with well-made cheeses and braised cuts.
Serve at room temperature, between 16 and 18°C. Tip: Uncork the bottle an hour before serving, taste the wine and decide whether to decant.
